Need to Know

Class 3 avalanche terrain.

Description

This line is often skied to add some steep vertical to a Wildy Bowl tour. It is a good uphill route when avalanche conditions are low. Drop in from the glacial moraine on Wildy Bowl's far east side, on Fairview's northern slopes. As a descent, the chute narrows and runs past some cliffs, opens onto a small apron, then levels out on a bench that crosses over to the Wildy Bowl middle path, or drop right onto a short, steep face with cliffs and narrow shots above glacial bench.
