Parking at the upper TH is for 4x4 vehicles with snow tires only. They don't plow the road up this far, and the going can be tricky, especially after a nice dump.

Description

This easy, short approach starts from the old Caribou Mining Town. From the obvious road junction (where all the signs are), head west up the road.

Shortly after popping out of the trees, you'll turn off of the road and onto the slopes of Caribou Hill. It's here where the approach gets a little steeper, but you won't need your risers.

From here, head as straight as you can for the easily sighted (on a clear day) summit.
