Open skiing with great views.

Description

To reach Flattop's East face there are two options, Flattop Mt. approach or Flattop East face approach via the Fern Lake trail. Climb as high as you like; the views only get better. The skiing is fun, open and can be great after a fresh snow. This area is generally safe due to its east facing aspect and lower angle slope. Enjoy.

Wind blown and firm. A few decent turns on far skiers right in the trees.

Incredibly wind blown and there is no breaking through the crust until reaching the trees where the crust is still several inches thick at parts.
