Description

To reach Flattop's East face there are two options, Flattop Mt. approach or Flattop East face approach via the Fern Lake trail. Climb as high as you like; the views only get better. The skiing is fun, open and can be great after a fresh snow. This area is generally safe due to its east facing aspect and lower angle slope. Enjoy.

Super fun skiing, great coverage. The snow goes to slush quick on this face, get there really early!

Really filled in nicely in the last couple weeks. The corn skiing is great right now. Get there before 9am on these hot days.

Low snow coverage at the top, quite windswept and hard packed. Low angle wind slab was whumphing at the bottom, but gave a few good turns. — 2h 29m
