II D4 R1
This is not a summit ski, although the summit block for Paiute Peak is not far off. The very top and very bottom are the steepest parts. According to CalTopo and our own observations, the steepest angle is closer to 40 degrees, but I trust most sources that say this only hits about 35 degrees.

Description

I brought a newbie skiing when I was here, and he had a great time on this one. He got to practice bootpacking (although not strictly necessary if you want a super steep skintrack). This holds great corn in the morning, descend closer to 10:30 to get optimal snow.

The line is in the center of the photo, right next to the rock rib. We had to cross rocks to get here, but I bet anyone with better routefinding skills could find their way entirely on snow.
