Double Head Ski Trail

Intermediate/Difficult
 4.3 (6)

An old CCC ski trail. Some fun sections, and an awesome hut at the top, but it's low in elevation.

Description

The trail is rutted, rocky, and rooty, so expect to get some scratches unless there's a lot of snow lower down in the valley. Ascend and descend the same way. It's a very straightforward ascent to the hut.

My first ski tour had a blast. Group of 5, one guide. Mwbcfest.Lots of snow today. Didn't need to worry about any roots or rocks scratching skis.

Conditions up were fine, but skiing down was very challenging with mixed snow conditions throughout.
