Steep in the upper regions, less intense as you descend to the ravine floor.

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Need to Know

This is extreme terrain with extreme weather. You MUST bring warm clothes, food, and water. This is a steep hike to the top and requires plenty of time. Avalanches are a threat in this area.

Description

When looking at the ridge from the ravine floor, this line starts an ascent just to the left of the large rock formation on the right side of the ravine. The lower sections of the line share with The Sluice. At the rock forming a Y junction approximately 2/3 of the way up, take the right side and continue to the top. Ski back down the line you hiked up.

Please note that the pictures associated with this route are incorrect. The line marked The Sluice is actually The Lip; the line marked Right Gully is actually The Sluice; and the line marked Lobster Claw is actually Right Gully.
