Description

This climb is tough, but the advanced terrain available from the top is well worth the trip. From the village of Yerevan, skiers will make their way to the Tsakhkevank chapel. This is where the tour starts. Though this one can be a bit risky, it is almost always interesting. You’ll follow this serpentine route until you reach the summit of the mountain where huge cliffs open up around you. Because of these cliffs, Mount Ara is also a popular paragliding destination.

Once you reach the top, simply return the way that you came.
