Easy early-season turns just above Nederland.

Need to Know

Be on the lookout for moose in this area. We were here in early-December and saw seven (7!) moose.

Description

From the road (or the summit of Caribou Hill), head east. The line starts off quite low-angle (keep an eye out for rocks as this section tends to get wind scoured).

As the grade steepens, the snow will deepen. Enjoy some surfy turns on this lap-able run!

We've had really good experiences bringing our husky puppy here for intro to backcountry and off-leash training. The terrain is mellow and not especially complex, so we can give extra attention to the doggy. youtu.be/deYW28fBsso Jan 21, 2019
