Black Crows should pay me. Here I'm ready to start skiing back down Session's Ridge. Sure glad I didn't have to walk this section. You can ski it all the way as far as is shown in the photo, and then some, before you have to finally boot the rest of it.
Atypical conditions allowed me to keep the skis on while descending back to my car for most of the way.

Atypical conditions allowed me to keep the skis on while descending back to my car for most of the way.
Saw lots of bus-sized cornices. Stay well away from them! Also, it would have been so nice to have crampons here. I decided not to bring them last-minute. Dumb.

Your first view of Rocky Drainage (sometimes called Rocky Basin, but it's not really a basin.) The line I favored from the peak followed the drainage to the right side of the picture.
