Need to Know

Compared to other areas, this does not have a lot of snow pack and is at lower elevation.

Description

Turn off of Provo Canyon at Vivian Park and go almost to the end of the fork to Big Springs Park. Park at the lot all the way at the top of the park.

From the parking, go through the gap in the railings (there will be hikers and snowshoers) and just start heading west. Follow about two miles of packed down hiking trail that you can easily skin on until you get to any uphill.

Look around you and choose what you want to go up. Not a lot of people ski out here so you'll probably have to spend some time along the way looking for what to ski.
