First half of skin in is very tracked out by hikers and snow shoes
Skinning up the North ridge of Maple Mountain, just after getting off the ski resort road. The ridge slope becomes more manageable as you put distance between you and that road.
Breaking trail on Y Mountain Meadow, some 300 feet below the saddle. Low angle, and great snow!
Skiing up through the thin aspen forest between Bear Flats and Apache Flats.
The bottom section of the run, a powdery, steeply-sloped meadow descending into Slide Canyon just above Bear Flats.
