Overview

Generally a spring route, pick your line and drop in!

Need to Know

Beware of hidden rocks. There are a few nice lines through some drops, but there are others that will put you right on top of a largish cliff.

Description

Starting at Loveland Pass, follow the Mount Sniktau Approach. If you are facing Loveland Ski area, this will be the right side of the road. Continue up the approach to the second bowl. The bowl is just below the first false summit and will be to your right. There are a number of lines through here to choose from.

Beware of cornice buildup, especially in the winter months. It is windy here and they build quickly. It is generally best to choose a line that will lead you to the hairpin turn in the road below.

Upon reaching the road, simply hitchhike back up the pass. Alternately, if you have a really good friend who likes the views but isn't a skier, you could have them drive you.
