A thick bushwhack through dense dark woods back to the road

Gunks Jesse
Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Need to Know

Use care when crossing Clear Creek. Snow bridges may have formed hiding dangerous crevasses.

Description

Multiple lines funnel into the woods on the northern flank of Mount Sniktau. Keep the small drainage stream on your left and bushwhack your way to the road. This can be time-consuming in any condition. You'll want to have left a vehicle at this area to shuttle yourself back.
