A steep, sustained line.

Need to Know

This is best to do as a loop with 2 cars, leaving a car at Bakersville and starting from Loveland Pass.

Description

Starting from the pass, head up and over Grizzly. Keep heading towards Torreys until you can tell you are on top of the line. Mind the cornice that usually forms on the top.

The line is about 1,500' long and never gets over 50 degrees. It is narrowest at the top and gradually opens on the way down. It's cool to link up with Torreys if you have the energy and good timing.

Cornice is somewhat built up, but you can enter to the lookers right of the couloir (above it) and traverse in.
