Description
Finland Glades Zone -- SHT Parking Lot to Summit
Started from the Superior Hiking Trail parking lot and skinned up to the top of the Finland Glades zone.
Skin track was in excellent shape: firm, well-set, super efficient. Clearly a ton of love went into the fall maintenance. Big thanks to the Superior Highland Backcountry volunteers who cut down the skin line.
Conditions: Very very cold out there today. Dress in layers and keep moving.
Beautiful day to be out in the woods though—quiet, crisp, and the zone felt ready for more laps.
Hoping to get back up there soon.
