Trail shared by J. Bella

This is a scenic high alpine route.

J. Bella
Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
Wilderness area, no mechanized equipment, drones etc. Please respect wildlife—there have been mountain lion sightings in this area.

Description

Near the top of the Long Canyon route, cross the broad alpine ridge to the west, and climb the gradually steepening ridge leading to Mary's Mountain. This is a great way to add some easy vertical to a tour, and it accesses the steep northeast-facing chutes dropping into Columbine Canyon.
