Description

One of the more popular "lines" in Grand Teton National Park (moderate face skiing excluded), Turkey Chute is a popular "next step" for those looking for something beyond the broad faces of 25 Short, Mavericks, or Wimpy's. Enter just South of the summit of 25 Short (Point 9975').

Be ready to downclimb the wind-scoured entrance, and enjoy the turns down into Avalanche Canyon.
