Avalanche risk for Apr 22, 2019: Low

Generally safe avalanche conditions. Watch for unstable snow on isolated terrain features. Natural and human-triggered avalanches unlikely.

The dense-tree option in the WFO area.

Nick Wilder
Type: In Bounds (completely inside ski area boundary)

Need to Know

About halfway down there's a low-angle cliff section. You may be able to ski over it, but it's often very rocky and best to go around it.

Description

Until the 2014/15 season, this was a gate-accessed out-of-bounds run call Way the Fuck Out. It's now an official in-bounds run, but it's still a hidden gem.

In this huge area, this is the most straightforward line. Maybe not the best, but this follows several large openings in the trees connected by sections of dense pines. It is steeper and generally more difficult than Way WFO to the left.
