Overview

Same deal as The Fly Couloir, but with a little less elevation gain, a little steeper, and a little narrower.

Need to Know

See The Fly Couloir for more details. The Zipper is a little bit narrower and a different aspect (more west facing), so beware.

Description

Overall, it is a bit more of a technical line, but just as fun and has a great run-out zone. Be sure to observe conditions from the road on the way in (it's super easy to spot) to make sure the choke near the top is filled in.

In early season / light snow years, this line can look filled in but be deceptively shallow in the couloir.
