Beartooth Highway is closed in winter and early spring.

Description

The Beartooth Highway is home to hundreds of spring and summer ski and snowboard lines. Reefer Ridge is just one of set of easy-access areas. From this jumping off point, the backcountry pursuant has the option to skin up from the road, turn around and return, or drop deeper into the wilderness that requires a return up-track. Enjoy the spectacular views and on "opening weekend" watch out for the drunks.
