Overview

This is one of the most obvious bigger lines accessible from Skinner Hut, descending the from the top of Divide Benchmark to the small lake that forms the start of Glacier Creek.

Description

Access the summit of Divide Benchmark from Hangerman Pass, then drop straight into the bowl down the wide couloir on the steep eastern face. Depending on the snow conditions, there are may be a few mild constrictions on the way down; you can get a clear view of the entire route from across the valley during the skin up from Skinner. Steepest section is right off the lip - watch out for wind loading here!

Many other smaller lines exist South of the main couloir and can be good options to test snow conditions.
