Need to Know

There are nice views from the top due to lack of trees. In turn, however, this can make it very windy.

Description

Accessing these turns is as simple as an easy skin up from the backcountry access gate off of the Headwaters Run. Trees burned during the 2008 Cascade Fire provide some open slopes to ski back down into the headwaters runs and return in-bounds.

History & Background

Burned in 2008 Cascade wildfire. You can follow one of the firelines to the top of the burnt knob.
