Don't drop in on the west side of the ridge. It is permanently closed for avalanche safety. Blasting can start at any time without warning.

Need to Know

The shelter right next to the road is day use only.

Description

Get a move on right away with the obvious ridge line ascent, past the weather station, to the first peak that makes up the extensive ridge line known as Cornice Ridge. This area has a lot to offer, including fun drops and cliffs in good conditions, some nicely spaced tree skiing for deep days, and beautiful bowls for corn. Once in the bowl, keep on lapping!
