Heavenly Gondola Line

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

This line runs directly under the Heavenly Gondola for nearly the entire length. Accessible from the Firebreak gate, which you can find near the top of the Olympic chairlift.

This run is one of the most popular backcountry lines at Heavenly Resort, and it's not hard to see why. Access is easy, and very little hiking is required. The run leads straight to the beginning of the Gondola, so you can ski/ride this run multiple times in one day if desired.

This run is one of the many runs accessible via the Olympic chair's Firebreak backcountry gate. From the gate, traverse as far left as possible until you reach the gondola. The snow can get fairly choppy due to the line's popularity.
