Do not park on the highway! If CDOT hasn't plowed out the lot adjacent to the Pumphouse Basin TH, drive to a pullout that has been cleared. Always make sure you're right of the white line!

Description

Cross the road from the parking area on the east side of the road. Stay in the bottom of the valley until a large meadow beneath Russell Peak. Turn southwest and follow a natural weakness in the trees up some gullies until you emerge below the northeast face of No Name Bench.

Turn south and cut a manageable track close to the trees below the slopes saving the best slopes for the descent. You'll get to reuse this track on your many laps of the face!
