A quick, mellow run.

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Description

Skin up the Mainline Approach from the parking area at the summit of the pass, a short distance gaining around 300' vertical feet. Once you gain the ridge, the pitch will lessen. Find a good spot to de-skin and ski back down to highway 40. This is an easy one to lap.

Lots of people bring their dogs on this run, which means there's a lot of dog $#!T at the bottom of the run. And on the skin track. And just about everywhere else on this run. Otherwise, this is a pretty alright run. Mar 20, 2017
