Overview

The Granny Chute is the largest chute in the area, yet it shares similar slope angles to its neighbors, Bombay and The Huge Chute.

Description

Follow the directions to the top of Patsey Marley from the Grizzly Gulch trailhead. Then head toward Mount Wolverine along the rim of the cirque while being wary of cornices. You'll pass a small, steep unnamed chute, the wide Huge Chute, the narrow Tips and Tails, the wider Bombay, and then you'll arrive at the very large Granny Chute.

Fun chute with just barely enough snow to hit in early summer. First part was a little skinny and spicy with low snow but the rest was excellent.
