A fun tour from the North Fork to the Middle Fork during low hazard times in a snaking tube.

angus Morrison
Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Need to Know

Extreme caution should be taken on this line. This is a steep tree tube with a strainer at the bottom. Only small safe zone to tuck into on decent.

Description

Make your way to Rexford in the North Fork of the Swan. Turn right and cross the creek. Continue up the Wise Mountain road to the mine at the top. Look for the Inn and say hi.

The Tornado is due south. Enter the glade or face above the tube. Ride the Tornado winding through the trees and through the strainer at the bottom. Exit above Tony Mine in the Middle Fork of the Swan.

Continue west to exit out the Middle fork.
