Need to Know

Avalanches frequently occur in this area. Please check the forecast and do your own cautious testing of the snow pack prior to starting a descent. Always ski with a partner.

Description

The Marjorie Bowl is approximately a 1 hour hike from the summit of Loveland Pass. This bowl is just beyond the ski area boundary of Arapahoe Basin and there are frequent avalanche slides in this area. The ridge that makes up the looker's right hand side of this bowl is also the backside of the Tree Chutes at the Abasin ski area.

We skied middle skiers left line after Sh**t for Brains. Skinned up lower right bowl then boot packed ridge to top. Perfect two lines in one day:)
