A year 'round Bozeman classic.

Description

A year 'round snowfield makes this a ski-able line any month of the year (Aug. and Sep. can be a little hairy though). Once in The Great One Couloir proper, it's an obvious line downslope.

Once out of the couloir, if it's summer, or low snow, look for the remains of a crashed airplane toward the end of the ski line. Pretty humbling.

Lots of technical scrambling through loose scree. Partner on a snowboard lost control and slammed rocks. Way hairier in Aug than Nov/Dec. Take care. 4mi — 7h 00m
