A nice skin up to gain a great view off the ridge.

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Description

After the first little climb from the parking lot, you'll gain a ridge that gradually climbs up towards Mt. Russell. There will be a spot or two where you'll need to boot pack a bit - gaining the ridge of Southeast Russell will be one of those spots. From this high point you can continue on or de-skin and pick your line. Enjoy.
