Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
This area has some of the easiest, most wide-open skiing near the Polar Star Inn. With only 300-400' of descent, it's good for quick laps when you don't want to venture very far, or are with a group that doesn't like tree skiing and needs something mellow. Additionally, it faces pretty much north and the snow gets less cooked in the sun.
