A restroom and warming hut.

From ColoradoSkiHistory.com: Hidden Valley opened for business in 1955, but the area was skied by area residents long before any lifts were installed. The area was run by the Estes Park Recreation District and backed by local businesses. It was eventually bought by the Park Service with the intent to phase out the ski operations. They removed the double chair in 1977 on the fact that it wasn't positioned correctly. In 1991, the area closed for good and has since undergone revegetation.

Food & Drink

After the Ski Line: Local Favorites

The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern Go forth and let all the people eat bacon wrapped, garlic stuffed dates
Dunraven Inn You must get their special especially when it is fresh seafood! The muscles for an app were superb and an Irish coffee for dessert finished it off beautifully.
Cascades Restaraunt & Lounge Try the ice water. It's the best thing on the menu...
Baba's burgers, gyros & more Place looked deserted when I first pulled up(on a Friday afternoon) but I am glad I didn't let that deter me. Ordered an elk burger and fried zucchini. It was all delicious! Definitely recommend!
Smokin' Dave's BBQ & Taphouse Pulled pork was the best but so were the ribs, brisket, and bread pudding
Inkwell & Brew Exceptional atmosphere, exceptional coffee, exceptional people!
Mountain Home Cafe Skillets are awesome with hot corn tortillas and extra homemade salsa!
Nepal's Cafe Great food and exceedingly friendly!
Notchtop Bakery & Café This is a great breakfast restaurant with lots of healthy choices including gluten free options and GF bread that tastes like real bread. One of my favorite restaurants in Estes Park.
You Need Pie The pies really are great. Big selection including gluten-free.
Mama Rose's The house salad is excellent, perfectly dressed. The wait staff is A++. Prices are affordable - our bill for a family of four came to a little over $70 which inc. beers & desserts.
Estes Park Pie Shop Not just about great pie. The diner food here is awesome. Pot pie and Mac and cheese is yummy!
The Egg & I Restaurants Bacon is amazing here.
Poppy's Pizza & Grill Here with a large group? Don't worry about paying extra gratuity. Poppy's has a policy of not charging extra for a large party!
Ed's Cantina & Grill Address is spelled wrong, it's Elkhorn.
Donut Haus Nothing Gluten Free. C'mon Donut Haus...get it together. For those of us who can't have gluten.
Miyauchi's Snack Bar Get the wild berry crumble with a chocolate dip and a waffle cone
1029 Lake Ave., Grand Lake CO — (970) 627-9319
Sloopy's Grill Had a burger, fries, and a milkshake. All were delicious. Friendly staff and a nice place to hangout. Best burger in the Grand Lake area.
