Trail Ridge Road needs to be open.

Overview

The north face of Sundance Mountain provides late spring skiing directly off of Trail Ridge Road.

Description

This line actually becomes steeper as you descend, with the top half averaging around 15-25 degrees and the lower half exceeding 35-40 degrees. The bottom half of this line needs to be skied early in the day as it is a very obvious avy chute.
