Overview

An Elks classic for quick & steep turns

Description

Use the Marble Peak Approach to gain the obvious summit of Marble Peak. From the summit there are endless lines back to Yule Creek Road - this is just an example of the basic descent. All of Raspberry Ridge is full of lines and many people lap the East Bowl of Marble Peak, as these are often the best turns in the zone.

This is a highly avalanche prone area and frequently sees both skier-triggered and natural slides. Be careful here.

The Konsella's "Backcountry Ski & Snowboard Routes" guidebook is probably the best resource for this area.
