Overview

Ski the iconic College M! A popular summer hike/run with great views of town, this ski line is rarely filled in due to its south-facing aspect and rocky base, but when a storm unloads on Bozeman, this is an awesome quick hit.

Description

From the parking lot, skin up the College M either directly up the face or wrap around the west side for a less steep approach via the Bridger Foothills trail connecting to the "long way" to the M. Once you reach the junction with the College M, either continue ascending the summer trail another ~1,000' then drop back down the way you came to ski the upper burn zone, or drop directly down the southwest face of the M for a more direct descent.
