Mount Gordon Lyon

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

$5 parking fee, avoid the ski area to be good stewards of the land.

Begin in the fee parking area (Arctic Valley Ski Area) near the trailhead on the west side of the road. Follow the trailhead and aim directly toward the tubing lift to avoid the actual ski area.

Hook north of the lift and follow the ski boundary marker signs up the creek bed to the saddle between Rendezvous Peak and Mount Gordon Lyon.

Prior to hitting the saddle, steer west and follow the gulley up to the top of Mount Gordon Lyon. The top gets a bit rocky, most folks stop 100' or so below to begin the descent.
