Overview

This line is visible from Highway 40 and is a great way to ski Roberts Creek in the spring. Not advised in mid-winter due to avalanche danger.

Need to Know

If you are not self sufficient, skilled in avalanche awareness, this is not the ski line for you. This is way off the road and having an issue this far away could be a major problem.

Description

This line is a great ski line to chase in the spring when the snow consolidates. If you follow the Roberts Creek approach from the bottom of the Vortex, this line will be above you when you get to Roberts Creek.

There is a minor cornice that builds late in the winter, but can easily be avoided above or below.
