Trail shared by Vikram Sahney

A steeper, glazed, upper-pitch that transitions to a moderate tree run.

Vikram Sahney
Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
This area can only be accessed by enlisting the cat services of Baldface Lodge.

Description

Start from the summit ridge near the wood sculpture, descend along the cat road slightly and drop into the bowl on the skiers left. There are good places to regroup after the first steeper pitch before skiers end up getting into the tighter trees. Maintain your speed through the lower trees to return to the cat pick-up rendezvous point.

History & Background

Lost a GoPro Hero 3+ on the upper pitch of this run on 2/22/17 when a mount broke. Reward for returning it!
