Description

The Backyard is a great place to ski laps all day when the avy conditions are high. Choose your skin track wisely and set it to the south of the ski run. There are numerous "fairways" you can ski all day. A group of five or six could spend hours tracking this slope out.

History & Background

This area is just outside of a private inholding called Camp Halton, which is within the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Make sure you respect the private property and don't enter the inholding without permission.
