Description

Follow the marked trail up from Bee Hill Road near the brook. Like many backcountry ski trails, this one features some sparse markings, but you'll still want to have an idea of where you're going. The trail begins gradually, before a half mile of steeper uphill. You'll get a bit of a reprieve, and even some gentle downhill for the next mile or so, but you'll likely want to keep your skins on. There will be one final push, and then you'll come close enough to a few forest service roads to make a loop home.

Several marked options exist that you can make a nice loop on logging roads with or access the Taconic Crest Trail system and Berlin.
