Update

An easy road approach to the meadows of Van Horn Park.

Chris Dickson

Description

The parking area only has spots for a few cars.
From the Hunter Creek Trailhead follow the obvious road up onto the slopes of Red Mountain, passing through Lenado Gulch and into Van Horn Park.

This is a well-travelled road that usually has a cat-track or snowmobile track running it's length to Van Horn Park Meadows. You'll descend back down this road after a pleasant day of lapping the Meadows.
