In most years there might be not enough snow. It was skied in 2015, with record snow falls.

Description

Get to the top of Blue Hill by any hiking trail, ski lift or road. Take the trail going around summit building.

Find the most open section of trees to start. Trees are dense at the beginning, but they open up to a great tree run.

The pitch is consistent and steep enough even for 1-2' of powder, and trees and branches are manageable (by New England standards).

Ski all the way to the road, put you skins and trace back your tracks to have another run. This area has enough powder space for ~10 runs.

History & Background

Skied it in Feb 2015, year of record snowfall in Boston area.

Skied it Jan 31st 2022, okay coverage, definitely hit some hidden rocks and roots but very fun still.
