Looking back at most of the above-treeline portion of the route ... the route is incredibly obvious - follow the ridge (hikers can be seen on the trail at right center).

Looking back at most of the above-treeline portion of the route ... the route is incredibly obvious - follow the ridge (hikers can be seen on the trail at right center).
A view of the chutes. The easiest options are far left or dead center.
Be careful to avoid causing a wet slide, like we did on the steepest chute.
Avoiding the exposed rock near the summit may just be the crux of this route.
Easy strolling up the ridge, with great views of the Box Creek cirque.
Snow conditions on the summit in February ... skiing down this small snow strip gives access to the upper snowfield and a ski off the summit.
