The Mountain Belle is part of the Skihuts and Summer Cabins between Ouray and Silverton Colorado at 11,500' on Red Mountain Pass. Located on the famous Million Dollar Highway (Hwy 550) in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, 1 mile from the main highway on a dirt road.

Newly constructed, built for comfort, simple, not fancy, with a rustic, remote, atmosphere. Fully equipped kitchen, solar powered lights, south facing deck, an abundance of large windows, with spectacular high alpine views. Warm, dry, quiet, without everyday distractions, no phone or TV, just spectacular mountains to enjoy.

Nearby Ouray, Ridgway, Teluride, Durango, and Silverton offering shopping, music and film festivals, mine tours, hot springs, fishing, train rides, museums and more. Endless recreation in some of the Rockies most beautiful mountains. Walk out the door to skiing, hiking, 4 wheel drive ATV trails, road or mountain biking, snowboarding, sledding, mining ruins and ghost towns.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM with Full Size Bed (double bed), Sleeping loft with mattresses. KITCHEN fully equipped with propane stove and all cooking utensils. Kitchen sink (no running water). Water needs to be brought in from other cabins or from in town (containers provided). BATHROOM with toilet only (water needs to be added to RV toilet). Wood burning stove with wood indoors ready to keep you warm. Large south facing deck with gas barbeque.

Great value, affordable family rates, children free. Perfect for couples, families or a few friends. Sleeps up to 8.

This cabin is simple, not fancy, but comfortable with all the basics.

4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive SUV with clearance recommended. 1 mile on a 4 wheel drive dirt road.
