Food & Drink

After the Ski Line: Local Favorites

Honey Doughnuts & Goodies Love the decor in here. Nice place to chill and have a coffee + honey donut after hiking...=)
The Golden Boot Caffé Absolutely the best place to relax and enjoy some food.
Hi Genki Dinner starts seating at 6:15pm. There's often a lineup so put your name down first and then go check out the new Japanese store next door.
Sushiholic Easily, the highlight of the dinner for me was the appropriately named Awesome Roll. It’s reasonably awesome in terms of size, but it’s pretty darn awesome in terms of flavor and originality
My Greek Tavern Get here early and stay for a while. Nice place to relax.
Camellia Tea & Coffee Siphon coffee is great here. Offers a cleaner full body taste. Nice interior, possibly the best in Burnaby.
Nando's Flame-Grilled Chicken Peri Peri is the bomb!
Fujiya Pick up a box lunch or two.
912 Clark Dr., Vancouver BC — (604) 251-1988
Pizza Garden Thin crust pizza by the slice, cooked in a super awesome pizza forge. Will be back.
Big Star Sandwich Co. I love their #5, specially because it has guacamole. Their prices are very reasonable, if you're in for a sandwich, this is the place to go in New West
Birds & The Beets Best bread in Vancouver and they do a pop up dinner counter menu every Wednesday night.
55 Powell St, Vancouver BC — (604) 893-7832
Phnom Penh Chicken wings, butter beef, dry mix egg noodle. You can't go wrong!
Bandidas Taqueria tequila tuesday!
Matchstick Coffee Roasters Great space to work or to just have a good coffee. Beer on tap was a pleasant and welcomed surprise!
Meat & Bread Subway for hipsters
370 Cambie St, Vancouver BC — (604) 566-9003
Les Faux Bourgeois Great French food at affordable prices, an excellent wine list that's equally attainable, all in a setting that oozes French bistro with an eastside retro-appeal.
663 E 15th Ave, Vancouver BC — (604) 873-9733
