Description

From PoleLine Pass / Cardiff Pass head due west on the ridge. The skinner passes many great lines like Power Outage, Two Trees and Little Superior Buttress. As you approach Little Superior the skinner gets steep and you may need to boot pack. Go easy and slow in the steeper sections. Not for the beginner. From the summit, drop into Superior South Face for the classic line, or to the north on one of the equally amazing lines.
Be aware: there have been many, many skier induced avalanches in this area and at least one recorded death on Little Superior.
