Green Slope is a south-facing open slope that is easily accessed from the Brighton ski area

Asher Margolies
Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Overview

Green Slope is a relatively low angle slope that's just a stones throw away from Brighton's Crest Chairlift. Ski down the low-angle face and follow the forest road back up to the ridgeline for an easy skin track.

Description

Green Slope is accessable from Brighton's Crest backcountry gate. The gate closes at 3pm so make sure you get an early start. The ridgeline starts out very steep so you'll most likely boot pack up to the first peak. Once you reach the first peak you can put your skis on and ride the ridge down to the saddle and drop in to Green Slope.
