An open face with great lappable terrain.

Need to Know

There is a very avalanche prone slope just southwest of this area.

Description

This mostly-sheltered zone loads with snow and can lead to great turns. Not only can you easily lap this area, you can see it from the Weston Pass Hut when you're taking in last light.

You can reach this area by skinning back along the track to the hut, and then ascending through the trees near the descent.
