Some of the best easy access backcountry in the Front Range.

Missy Thompson
Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Description

Butler Gulch is a popular backcountry area that is easily accessed from the Front Range. It offers a variety of terrain that allows ample opportunity for multiple laps. While this area sees quite a bit of activity, there are always untracked lines to be found. As in any backcountry area there are potential terrain traps, so pick your line wisely.
